Thank you for your response!

As far as Katrina goes if I am not mistaken the Federal Government cannot issue a state of emergency for a city or state without the state first declaring a state of emergency. Also the city of New Orleans knew for a long time that their levy's were piss poor at best and did nothing to fix them. You can't expect the federal government to pick up where a state dropped the ball.

Lets not forget that our federal government gets its power from the states and not the other way around, though most people wouldn't know that with the way things have been going lately.

"he has had to deal with more in these first 6 months than most presidents have to deal with in an entire term"

That statement sums up why he can not be judged fairly. Everyone wants the president to do something about their issues and cause, and in reality he cant please everyone. It will not happen. And you are exactly right anyone who has ever been through a security clearance or had a friend that had a security clearance knows that the agents come to your home unexpectedly to find out who you really are, and who they are clearing are. This issue is nonsense & does not deserve the light of day. But than again no one thought we could have a black president, so the nay sayers are desperate.

I disagree that Bush couldnt have done better with Katrina because in FL they have hurricanes for months on end and it never ends up like Katrina. If LA couldnt handle he had experts in FL he could have consulted. Also a leader if you see a bad situation, and watch it get worse you are not truly a leader.
